Peer recovery support services

Non-clinical, person-centered support delivered by people with lived experience of recovery, designed to work alongside your clinical team.

Peer recovery support

One-to-one support from a Certified Recovery Specialist who has walked a similar road. Peers build trust, share hope, and model that recovery is possible.

Recovery coaching

Goal-focused coaching that helps people strengthen recovery capital (housing, work, relationships, health, and community connection) one step at a time.

ED & hospital warm handoffs and overdose follow-up

Timely peer engagement in emergency departments and inpatient settings, with follow-up after an overdose to connect people to treatment, naloxone, and community supports.

Person-centered recovery planning

Recovery plans written with the person, not for them, built around their own goals, strengths, and chosen pathway.

Support for people in MAT / MOUD

Respectful, stigma-free support for people using medications for opioid use disorder. Medication-supported recovery is recovery.

Re-entry support

Peer support for people leaving jail or prison and those involved with probation or drug court, helping bridge the gap back to community life.

Facility contracting

Flexible service agreements for facilities, with clear service level agreements and privacy practices designed around 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA. How contracting works.

About peer support: Peer recovery support is non-clinical. It complements, but does not replace, medical care, counseling, or other clinical treatment. Recovery Trail peer services are delivered only by Certified Recovery Specialists credentialed by the Pennsylvania Certification Board, and every specialist's credential is verified before they serve clients.
